COVID-19 Policies

Park Avenue Armory cares about the health and safety of our audiences, artists, and staff.

While Park Avenue Armory strongly recommends vaccination against COVID-19, proof of vaccination is not currently required to attend performances and events.

Masks are optional—all guests are encouraged to wear a mask in the Armory to protect themselves and others, but it is not required.

Please do not come to the Armory if you feel ill, have any onset symptoms of COVID-19, test positive for COVID-19, or have been in close contact with someone infected with or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. Those attending performances at the Armory do so at their own risk.

The Armory has been on the front edge of safety standards since the pandemic began and we will continue to follow government and CDC guidelines and adjust policies as needed. We will strive to communicate substantial changes to health and safety protocols in advance of performances via email. We also encourage visitors to visit our website prior to their arrival for the most up-to-date information.

Ticketing and Event Information

Please contact the Box Office at or call (212) 933-5812. The Box Office phone line is open Monday through Friday 10:00am-6:00pm. For in-person Box Office hours, please call the Box Office for the most up-to-date information. Holiday hours may vary.

Ticket Refunds and Exchanges

All sales are final—no refunds or cancellations.

Programs, artists, dates, and prices are subject to change. If an event is canceled or postponed, we will announce the change—if time permits—by e-mail.

Tickets may be exchanged for a different performance date of the same production. Please note the following:

• There is a $15 exchange fee for tickets that are more than $25, and a $5 exchange fee for tickets that are $25 or less. This fee is waived for members at the $250 Supporter Level and above and for subscribers.
• Tickets may only be exchanged one time per production.
• Exchanges are subject to availability and must be requested at least 24 hours before the original performance date by calling (212) 933-5812 (M–F 10am-6pm). The ticket buyer is responsible for any difference in ticket price.

$2 per ticket for events where the top ticket price is $25 or less

Facility Fees
All tickets purchased by phone, online, or in person at the box office will incur a facility fee of $3 per ticket, which is used to maintain and preserve Park Avenue Armory.

Lost Tickets

Misplaced tickets can be reissued by calling the Box Office at (212) 933-5812 or at the Box Office 30 minutes prior to the performance.

Donate Your Tickets

Patrons who are unable to use their tickets may return them to the Box Office to receive a tax–deductible contribution to the Armory for the face value of the tickets. Donated tickets must be returned at least 24 hours in advance of the performance. Please contact the Box Office at or (212) 933-5812.

Late Seating

Each event at the Armory is a unique experience that utilizes our space differently. Out of respect for the artists and fellow audience members, late seating is often not possible. Latecomers will be admitted at the discretion of management. Seating assignments are not guaranteed after the start of the performance.

Photo and Video Disclaimer

Performances may be captured for future broadcast or promotion. Your attendance at an event shall be deemed as your consent to have your image or likeness appear in any video display or reproduction in whole or in part.

Mobile Phones

Devices must be turned off prior to the start of the performance.

What time should I arrive for a performance?

The lobby opens an hour before the performance, and the house typically opens 30 minutes prior to the performance.

Is the Armory accessible to persons with disabilities?

Yes. For individuals requiring assisted access, a sidewalk-level entrance is available at 103 East 66th Street, located just east of Park Avenue. Patrons can ring the service bell when they arrive or can arrange prior to arrival by calling the main security desk at (212) 616-3950, Ext. 1. Assisted Living Devices may be available upon request. Please call the Box Office for information on accessible seating for performances at (212) 933-5812.

What are the delivery options for tickets?

Tickets can be held at the Box Office and picked up at Will Call or emailed as a PDF. We encourage you to select Print-At-Home tickets, and you will receive the PDF ahead of time; you can either print the PDF of your tickets, or you can show them on a mobile phone.

Why haven't I received my tickets via email yet?

Tickets are emailed as a PDF attachment from Please check your junk mail folder for this address. Please note that there can be a delay in time from when an order is placed, and the tickets are sent by email. To have tickets resent via email, please contact the Box Office at or (212) 933-5812.

Is the Armory open to the public?

The Armory is open during ticketed programming and on select dates for guided tours. For more information on touring the Armory, please visit the tours page.

Can I pick my seat online?

For some productions, ticket buyers have the option to select their own seat. For other productions, ticket buyers will automatically be assigned the best available seats for that zone. If you have specific seating requests such as wheelchair seating or an aisle seat, please contact the Box Office at or (212) 933-5812.

Is there a lost and found?

Yes; Please call the main security desk at (212) 616-3950, Ext. 1.

Is there a bar or concessions?

For most performances, there is a lounge that serves light concessions, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Additionally, our Armory After Hours lounge is open after most evening performances. Armory patrons also receive special offers at select nearby restaurants.

If an event is a sold-out, what are my options??

If an event is sold out, interested ticket buyers are welcome to join the in-person standby line starting 1 hour prior to the event. Limit 1 ticket per person.

Should I buy my ticket on a ticket resale website?

Park Avenue Armory is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third parties such as ticket brokers or online outlets such as ticket resale websites. Tickets purchased from third parties may not be valid and may be unusable for admittance, and we cannot replace lost or stolen third-party tickets.

Should I bring my child to the Armory?

Due to the nature of the Armory's programming, children under the age of eight are not recommended to attend performing arts events, unless otherwise noted. All attendees must have a ticket regardless of age, and the Armory reserves the right to remove disruptive persons from its spaces.
